Mr. Mayor
The mayor of your town has had an awesome time being mayor. Because he has done such a good job, himself and some of his friends decided he will be mayor again. This means they decided to not have an election this year. Which amendment did they break?
School Newspaper
A student at your school was very upset because they feel they should be allowed to sit where ever they want during lunch. They wrote an article for the school newspaper but the editor said she could not voice her opinion in hte paper. Which amendment are they breaking?
Money
Mr. Mayor really wants to buy a new car he saw in a magazine. Unfortunately, he does not have enough money to buy the one he wants. He thinks it is a great idea if he just charges people $5.00 in order to vote this year. If he does this, he will definitely have enough to buy the car. Which amendment did he break?
School
A teacher was becoming very frustrated because a student was not doing their homework. They told the student that if they did not start doing their work, they would not be allowed back in school. Which amendment are they breaking?
Nurses
The Nurses at Duke Hospital are very upset about how much they get paid. Instead of going to work, they stood outside the hospital and petitioned for higher wages before they return to work. The hospital told them they are not allowed to petition for their rights. Which amendment are they breaking?
